Paperback: pictorial printed card wrappers, brown & red lettering and image of scout, on buff card. xvi, 665pp. With line drawings in text throughout, two sections with colour images (flags and pilot badges, in marine chapters). Pictorial adverts at ends. Very Good: in remarkably good condition for a paper covered book of this period: clean wrappers, rubbed edges mostly to spine which has some small tears at lower edges.

Ownership inscription twice on front free endpaper. Fading to head and tail of spine. Very good in the scarce dustwrapper which is very good, slightly faded at the spine and chipped at the head and tail of the spine.
