Prior owner's name on first page. Clover books, published by McLoughlin Bros., undated except for copyright date but probably late 1950s, 210 pages. 12mo (5"" x 7.5"") #8 in the Bomba series, originally published in 1929 by Cupples & Leon. Dated to the later 1950s because McLoughlin Bros. became a subsidiary of Grosset and Dunlap in 1954, and this book uses the Grosset and Dunlap cover art from their 1950s reissue.

McLoughlin Bros, Clover Books, 1929. Hardcover. Very Good Plus. This book is in overall Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. There is a name written at the top of the first end page. This book appears unread. A unique aspect of this book is that it has several, more than 10, old real clover leafs impressed in the pages, some are 3 leaf and some are 4 leaf clovers. I will leave them in the book- they do not appear to have left any damage to the book. Outside covers show some minor soiling and wear to include the outside corners. Overall a very nice book. Pictorial cover with the 49c price on the front cover of the book. Only copyright date showing is the 1929 in Roman Numerals, but I would assume this was printed in the 1950's, maybe 1960's.
