Cover rubbed, bumped and faded. Interior tight with occasional foxing, edges little spotted. VG. Horsell was a British promoter of vegetarianism; there are chapters on liquid food, drugs, air and exercise. The second book, taken from the fifth London edition, prescribes water for about every human ill, from hypochondriac melancholy to plague.
