Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Book has a forward lean.

Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.

More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription and scribble to front pastedown. Light cracking and creasing to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with visible splitting and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

The pages are crisp and unblemished, except a tear to page 321. Feels read, but still tight. Very good condition. No jacket. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described.
