NY: George Munro. Very Good+. N.D.. Hardcover. This is a bound accumulation of the appearances of Eliot's works, published in the Seaside Library magazine in the 1800's, and bound in a very nice three-quarter green leather book. Raised bands, gilt title. Slight rubbing to the edges, one small "ding" on the spine. The pages are very white & clean, with the exception of a stain on just a few in one spot. Some of the pages were trimmed right at, or just into, the text on the edge of the page. The magazine is not dated, but from the paper and type, dates from the 1880's. A nice period accumulation, of a magazine which is scarce in Its own right, in a binding which would cost hundreds to produce today. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .

Fairly even fading to the spines, the later volumes slightly slanted and volume III neatly recased, occasional light edge wear, an attractive set overall.
