Presentation copy from the author, inscribed by him on the half-title page: ''For Channon from Harold June 30 1943''. Both were bisexual, Members of Parliament, although for different parties, and appear frequently in each other's diaries. One of their main bones of contention was the appeasement of Hitler for whom Channon had a great admiration.Covers slightly marked.
