GOOD+. no dj. blue boards have some minor rubs to corners and edges, but no loss. the spine is lightly rolled to both ends. gilt titling and detailing are a tad dulled, but readable. endpapers have isolated foxing points, and some light tanned area ( perhaps a former article laid-in ?) no inscriptions or marginalia. a lovely clean copy.

Front hinge has small 3/4 inch split, rear hinge is split at rear endpapers with mull showing, but still holding. Illustrated throughout and with frontispiece - some vellum overlays.
