A massive catalogue of "A Collection of Post-Modern Poetry Books, Manuscripts & Letters" with substantive notes on some entries written by a distinguished list of contributors. This is the "trade edition" which includes the text of "The Last Words of Hassan-i-Sabbah" by William S. Burroughs (Schottlaender C462; printed along the tops of all pages) but does not include the vinyl EP included with the "special edition." Uncirculated-looking copy with very minor wear.

The lavish first issue of Steve Abbott's ambitious early 1980s literary review, includes a lengthy "interview / workshop" with Robert Duncan, plus work by a range of great contributors. Perfect-bound in printed wraps, 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 in. 130pp. Very good or better, with toning and wear to wraps, a few penciled notes (presumably in Elmslie's hand) to the rear cover.. Inscribed at his p. 13 contribution (a single poem) by Donald Britton: "Love to Kenward [Elmslie], Donald 3/31/80". Donald Britton was a New York and later Los Angeles-based poet who died of AIDS complications in 1994; his only book of poems, Italy, was published by Little Caesar in 1981. This issue also includes Joe Brainard, Tim Dlugos, Dennis Cooper, Peter Schjeldahl, a section of unpublished works by Stephen Jonas, with tributes to him from David Rattray, Gerrit Lansing, and others.
