Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with moderate staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

In fairly good pictorial cloth with colour image of girl with flowers and bees above and gilt titles to front and decorative back strip. The boards are quite clean, a little loose from page block to front; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed. The front free end paper is missing; the rear free end paper is very tanned; the paste downs are slightly foxed. Age-toned cut edges. The text block is firm, apart from prelims which have loose pages from tail end. Bright colour illustrations on title page and prelims. Good minus condition. No dedications etc. Scarce. No jacket.
