A small tear 1cm to base of page 249 which has been repaired with clear tape, now aged. Cream DJ with red titling, minor chipping to edges and aged shelfwear. DJ is complete.

Collins. New. A complete facsimile run of new naturalists - numbers 1-10 in a lovely, strong, cloth backed box - green the same colour as the the buckram used on the new naturalist series with the NN logo on either end and a title 'The New Naturalist' to the right hand side. The ten facsimile volumes are in as new condition. A light bump to the head of British plant life - a printer's/warehouse flaw - in no way affecting the overlying wrapper. This facsimile edition was published in 2008 in an edition of what I believe was only 1000 - though this is from memory and so please do not take this as gospel truth. If so, they will become amongst the rarest of New Naturalist editions - published in wrappers. A super, very attractive set that will enhance any New Naturalist collection.
