Her first book, the true first edition was self-published, then published by Jeff Berner of the Stolen Paper Review in various printings. Near Fine, slight browning to rear wrapper at spine edge. Red end papers, 6 pages, four poems; God/Love Poem, To Fuck With Love, Phases I, II, and III. The latter three poems caused the book to be banned as obscene. . Second Edition. Pictorial Stapled Wrappers. Near Fine. Square 8vo.

Cardstock cover with brown and blue kama sutra imagery to front and back, and white title to front. Edgewear to spine, and light thumbing to bottom left front corner. Dampstains to endpapers, fore-edge, and final three leaves. This title was part of an exhibit about Tantra in the British Museum. The sexually provocative imagery led to an explosive obscenity/censorship trial - with a guilty verdict - in San Francisco in 1967.

[1st printing, 1966] Dark brown printing on wraps; olive green endpages, with publisher's name, but no address, printed in verso of rear endpage; text printed sideways on rectos. Of historical as well as poetical interst. Seized by police November 15, 1966, this book of poetry (with "To F*ck with Love"), was part of famous 1967 censorship trial, wherein it was deemed obscene and defendants found guilty. In 1971 the verdict was overturned. Rear cover has patches of soiling (food likely) and picking at soiling has caused scars (see scan); corner wear; minor creasing.. First Edition. Paperback. Good+ to Very Good-.

First edition, very early issue with cover printed in brown (rather than black) ink with no blue overprinting, text printed sideways, publisher specified on verso of rear endpaper but partial with no address (first issue apparently has no publisher listed there). [10] pp. printed on rectos only. Illustrated wraps with pale green endpapers. Basically Fine with tiny corner crease to one page, hint of shelf wear. An attractive copy of an uncommon banned book. It was the author's first, which became a cause celebre in the Haight Ashbury scene when it was banned as obscene.
