A gritty and powerful collection of 72 black and white images all taken in the seediest areas of Boston. Also includes text by Angier as well as her interviews with the subjects of her images. A clean and tight very near fine copy in a very near fine dust jacket with a small tear to the top rear corner and some other very minor wear. A lovely copy of this underappreciated book.

Stamp on front fly of numbers and letters, likely a foreign price stamp, else fine in about fine dust jacket with a tiny scratch on the front panel. A photo documentary of strippers and prostitutes in Boston's "Combat Zone," reminiscent of and contemporary with Susan Meiselas' *Carnival Strippers*. In much better than usual condition.

A very good copy with a short closed tear to the top of the dust jacket. Has a bit of grimy/musty feel as well as the subject matter. Signature of the photograher on the front free end paper. Scarce book especially signed.
