Publisher's advertisements p. [325]-332. Dufresne (1788-1862) was a French judge, painter and writer who published a series of children's books dealing with moral education. Owner's name ffep, no other marks in book, pp. 115-116 lacking about 3/4" at bottom corner not affecting text, binding solid. Covers show considerable edge wear, especially the corners. Uncommon title, with copies located at the Bibliotheque Nationale de France and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Book condition Good+. Text in French.
