Napoli, Italy: Stab. Tipografico Silvio Morano , 1917. This is a very good hardcover copy in the original publisher's half vellum binding and black cloth boards. Very clean inside (faint foxing to endpapers), and light fading to cloth. A previous owner name of a scholar on the front endpaper and a faint circular handstamp of Neapolitan bookbinder to that page. Vellum spine simply ruled and decorated in black. Text in Italian and Latin. 2 fold-out documents at end. Count Riccardo Filangieri di Candida, was a member of an old Neapolitan family, an authority on medieval and modern Italian history and art, and author of books and articles in these fields.
