This sold prodigiously and led to a series of sequels covering other aspects of life. Four Volumes: Gamesmanship; Lifemanship; One-Upmanship; and Supermanship. All pages clean and bright. Paperbacks, spines toned but covers bright due to being stored in original illustrated slipcase.Illustrations by Lt-Col. Frank Wilson. Slipcase slightly toned with wear to top edge and base of spine. A good set. VG.

Leon Cortez), accompanying cartoon illustrations by Anthony Masters, rusting to staples causing some brown spots to inner margins. Paperback, spine worn and small worn spot to front cover, vertical creasing to front. Good.** "Leon Cortez (1898�1970) was a British musician and actor who appeared regularly on stage and in films and television in a career that spanned five decades. He became well known as a Cockney comedian and variety actor and he was regularly heard in his Cockney Coster Band (the act was top of the bill at the Adelphi in Slough in 1936 and appeared in the 1937 film [[Calling All Stars (1937 musical) Calling All Stars]and The 'Appy 'Alf 'Our on BBC Radio during the late 1930s and early 40s. Cortez also became known for his Shakespearean comedy parodies." (wiki).
