Extremities rubbed, spine faded, hinges split, missing front free endpaper, contents age-toned, some inner margins exposed, lacking maps of Cuba.

Extensive reporting on the progress of the war, including the sinking of the Tuscania, Russia's withdrawal from the war, Germany's claim to Alsace and much more.

Light blue cloth over boards, folding map. Covers foxed but solid and unworn. Foxing to endpapers and a small chip to front pastedown, tiny slit along fold of map archivally tape-repaired. Interior is otherwise flawless and free of defects. A running commentary of the defense of Fort Sumter. A good historical record.

Light cover soil, light foxing to margin of one page, centerfold page loose but present. Photos of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, formerly known as Togus. Numerous photos of the campus as well as several interior views.

Paris: Treuttel et Würtz, 1808. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 513pp. Marbled boards, gilt tooled leather spine. Moderate wear and scuffing to cover, text is lightly age-toned, light spotting to endpapers, slight cracking at gutters, text block is tight and holding firmly, former owner's bookplate and bookshop label on front pastedown. Author discusses the influence of the Crusades on the citizens of Europe and their civilization.

Extremities rubbed, minor rippling to top edge of covers, which are otherwise clean and bright. Contents are clean , a few gutters exposed, corner tear to 3 pages.

New York: D. Van Nostrand, 1864. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 146pp. Maroon cloth, gilt lettering to spine. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED by the Author on front free endpaper. Cover spotted, spine lettering partially obliterated, front free endpaper missing, contents lightly age-toned, preliminaries foxed and occasional light foxing to text.. Front endpaper is inscribed to Col. Townsend, and signed by the author. Verso is inscribed in pencil, in a different handwriting, partially illegible. Morris served as a Brigadier General in the Union Army. The author offers precise detail of field tactics and maneuvers, along with numerous diagrams.

One of a series of pamphlets for enlisted men of the Coast Artillery, in preparation for gunners' examinations. Instructions and numerous illustrations and diagrams. Covers and contents are unmarked and clean, lightly age-toned.

Two-colored simulated leather binding with gilt design and lettering to cover and lettering to spine. Ribbon bookmark. Text in French, Hebrew and English, profusely illustrated in black and white photos. Covers are in very good condition. Hebrew inscription on front endpaper. Contents are lightly tanned, but clean. A very attractive book.

Both volumes illustrated throughout with engraved scenes and portraits, plus numerous maps and diagrams.
