Boston: Brown Taggard, & Chase, 1860. Hardcover. Very Good. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. 255pp. Stamped cloth, gilt lettering, folding map of Boston bound-in. Covers are faded and very lightly rubbed, text is age-toned and clean. Owner wrote many weather entries on memoranda pages. Folding map has slight edge stain and is in otherwise sound condition. Many ads and much information.

Boston: James Munroe and Company, 1859. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. 225pp, 12pp ads. Brown embossed cover, gilt lettering to cover and spine, folding map. Light wear to extremities, cracking to inner hinges but binding is tight and holding, contents age-toned, former owner's name in pencil on front free endpaper, folding map has one small spot and is otherwise very sound.

Buffalo: Edson C. Eastman and Company, 1850. First Edition . Soft cover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. 107pp. Printed wraps, engraved frontispiece, illustrated throughout. Front wrapper missing, text is lightly foxed, rear cover spotted, folding map in very good condition. Rare 1850 first printing ot ths early travel guide. Complete except for front wrapper.

Springfield: New England Publishing Company, 1866. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. As New. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 235pp + 5pp ads, folding map. Rust colored cover, gilt lettering to cover. Corners rubbed, spine ends chipped, title hand-written on spine, contents age-toned, archival tape repair to map with very minor loss of text, bookplate of Mary Foote Burt (sister of Henry Burt?) on front free endpaper, small dampstaining to bottom edges, slight split to lower rear endpaper, binding is tight. Many black and white illustrations and 4 two-color plates.

Ottawa: Ministèe du Commerce, 1939. Soft cover. Good. 195pp, folding map and folding plates. Text in French. Corner chipped and other moderate wear, some cover bleeding to edges and margins of last pages, text mostly clean and sound.

Syracuse, NY: Dey Brothers & Company, 1906. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Oblong 4to. 23pp unpaginated. Stiff purple stapled wraps, gilt lettering and decoration. Photo illustrations of prominent sites and locations of Syracuse. Mild fade to front cover and small label removal abrasion, 1/4 inch tear to lower rear cover. Contents are in very nice condition.

Paris: Poinçot, 1788. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Blanche Huleatt Carpenter. 10 volumes, full contemporary calf, triple line gilt border, gilt decorated spine, contrasting leather spine label, inside dentelles, marbled endapers. speckled edges, engraved frontispieces, folding world map bound in first volume. Bon état. plein cuir. Moderate wear and some joints tender and splitting, all holding, several spine labels missing or partially missing. Text is clean and sound, and text block is tight, folding map very good, each volume (except vol.10) contains a highly detailed engraved frontispiece of an active event related in the narrative. This set includes the extra 10th volume which deals with France's colonies, subtitled "Voyages intéressans dans différnentes colonies Françaises, Espagnoles, Anglaises, &c.

Catherine Tucker. 329pp. Blue flexible boards, gilt let4tering and decoration, folding map. Book is clean and unworn, contents unmarked, folding map is unused. Dust jacket shows light edgewear and minor blemishes.

Spine and cover edges are browned, binding is solid and contents are clean, small red promotional sale label of Connecticut Publicity Commission with 60 cent price on front cover.

Slight crease to front board most visible on interior, contents clean and unmarked, binding is tight, margin chips to advertising endpapers, folding maps in very good condition.

Dalziel. 438pp. Green cloth, decorative spine with gilt lettering, engraved frontispiece and vignette title page. Covers are worn and scuffed, joints and hinges splitting but holding, preliminary pages foxed and text lightly foxed, endpapers missing, number written on pastedown, illustrations present and all with tissue-guards, and text is complete.

Omaha, Nebraska: The Overland Publishing Company, 1880. Soft cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 281pp, 18 engraved folding plates and numerous illustrations. Red stiff pictorial wraps. Moderate cover soil and light wear, map not present. Contents are age-toned but otherwise unmarked. The engraved plates show wonderful panoramic views of many national park sights.

Author's observations during his travels in the United States in 1837. this is the single volume edition published in 1839. Howes M-300.

Covers edgeworn,spotted, paper spine labels partially chipped off, contents are age-darkened and have very little foxing, bindings are tight, earl owners' names on flyleaves and first text page of second volume. English author's account of his American tour, which appeared in 1839 simultaneously in London , Paris and in various editions in Philadelphia and New York. Howes M -300.

Train schedules and fares of European cities. An uncommon publication by the eldest son of Charles Dickens.
