Dust jacket has some large chunks missing, and there are rips and nicks along the edges. It is now in plastic but well rubbed and stained.Fore edge is well tanned and dirty. Hard cover is yellow with a stain up the spine and across the top edges. Spine ends are lightly bumped. Dedication and signature are on the flep, with some pencil marks too. Spine ends are bumped and thread bare with small chunks missing esp. on the head of the spine. Fore edge is raw cut and dirty, well tanned with finger smudges. There is also a water stain on the top of the fore edge. Text block is well tanned and has a few finger smudges throughout.
