Brissaud, a French Art Deco illustrator, painter and engraver trained at the same Parisian workshop as Andre Marty, Charles Martin and Georges Lepape. His fashion designs, pochoirs illustrations for "Gazette du Bon Ton" are renown. Lovely, very fresh and crisp copy almost as new.

Brunelleschi's polite, décolleté nudity, romantic rather than hard core, paints a style popular in its day.

An English edition "The Boys in the Back Room" (literally "the pals") appeared in English in 1937. A poet and writer, his politics allied him with Edouard Daladier, the unfortunate Prime Minister of France before the Nazi invasion. Scattered light text toning.

Morrison, Life Peer Baron Morrison of Lambeth was a member of the Labour Party, serving as Foreign Secretary, 1951, and as a Deputy Prime Minister. During World War II he served as Home Secretary. Morrison also created the London greenbelt system and was responsible for the unified London transport system. Crisp, fresh and very bright copy. No dust jacket, but believe not issued by publisher.
