Parents Magazine Press, 1975. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. Szekeres, Cyndy. Charming little book about a family of.mice that go sailing down the river to visit a sick relative. No jacket, a little wear to boards, but overall quite clean, no markngs.

The Grolier Society Inc, 1967. Hardcover. Very Good. From the series where two books were bound in each volume, facing opposite directions: Open the book one way and you've got Tom Thumb; turn the book upside down and you've got Nursery Rhymes. Fading and wear to the spine and front/back boards but the interior is perfect -- colors are bright. NOT ex-lib. Contact us for other volumes in this series!

Lothrop, Lee and Shepard, 1961. Hardcover. Good. Mariana. Ex-lib copy in a library binding, no dj. Red boards with black/white artwork on front cover. Heavy stamps and markings to frontmatter, but story pages are clean and crisp. A hard to find title, stated second printing.

Grosset & Dunlap, 1940. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. Duvoisin, Roger. A wise bird and a little girl help Donkey-donkey finally decide how to wear his ears. Book is in decent condition with bumps to corners and wear to the cover edges. Spine is cloth-bound and in very good shape. Glorious color endpapers and pagers are perfect. Green pictorial cover with donkey in a yard, not the illustration of Donkey wearing his red harness. No jacket. This is the original 1940 binding, not the Parent's Magazine version or a later printing.

Western Publishing, 1980. Cloth. Very Good. Mill, Eleanor. Very nice Sesame Street Book Club copy. Like new! Another clean volume for your "I hate Elmo" library.

St Louis, MO: Bethany Press, 1965. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Anweiler, Marilyn. A fairly educational picture book about the role of the various types of bees in a hive. This centers on a particularly drone-y drone, it would seem. Near Fine, apparent first printing with a bit of surface soil to boards, very clean internally.

New York: Thomas Crowell, 1965. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Kessler, Leonard. Kids nature title about ducks. A bit of soil to front boards, light wear to lower corner, otherwise NF. No jacket.

Atlantic Monthly Press, 1962. Book Club (BCE/BOMC) . Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Blegvad, Eric. Nice little book (weekly reader book club edition) about a set of traveling fiddlers settling a family feud. No jacket, but near fine with a solid binding and very clean internally.

New York: Scribner, 1950. Hardcover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Ex-school library copy of this Caldecott winner. Wear to boards and penned letters "E M" to bottom of spine, card pocket removed, library stamps to front and rear paste-downs, and to a couple of pages internally. This book has been read by many children, but all pages are intact--one tear to lower page edge.

New York: Simon & Schuster. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Knight, Hilary. A nice clean copy of this classic story, with Hilary Knight's priceless illustrations. Fine in a NF jacket. Fold out page has a slight crease to inside edge. Later printing.

New York: Simon & Schuster, 1959. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Knight, Hilary. First printing of this title. Boards have a couple of small water spots, but are otherwise quite clean. However, torn at foot of spine about 2 inches up the binding, including lost to lowest 1/2 inch of spine. Internally wonderfull--perhaps slight toning to pages, but illustrations clean and bright throughout, no markings.

Landoll, 1997. Hardcover. Near Fine. Cute pop-up story about er...some elves who have the day off (and for some reason Santa isn't busy and hangs out with them). At any rate, Near Fine with all pop ups intact, slight lean to spine.

New York: Viking, 1980. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Stated first edition, first printing, in as-new condition. Jacket shows only the tiniest hint of wear, but IS price-clipped.

New York: Clarion Books, 2004. First Edition . Pictorial Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Downing, Julie. Signed by authoron the title page. A first printing of a beautiful picture book by a Newbery Award -winning author. . When Sang-hee's father can't light the fire that lets the king know all is well in the land, will Sang-hee light it? Or will he keep it dark so he can finally see the soldiers?

New York: Alfred a Knopf Inc, 1995. First Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Lovely, copy of this oversize picture book on Christopher Columbus. Outstanding illustrations. First printing, fine in a fine jacket. No markings, just a bit of wear to jacket at top front near flap.

Chicago: Follett Publishing Company, 1953. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. Lovely fable about a helpful horse giving rides to passers by. Jacket is quite good for its age, with only minimal wear to corners and foot of spine, scuff to front flap. Interior of book unmarked, but two pages had detatched and were repaired with decidedly non-archival tape at the gutter, which has yellowed.

New York: Pantheon, 1967. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/Good. Lionni, Leo. Lovely story of how Frederick brings light back to the winter. Cover shows a well-loved book- small rips along top and bottom and near spine. Caldecott Honor Book sticker on front cover, jacket is price-clipped but date on bottom of front flap seems to indicate Sept 1966. Book is not a first but obviously a very early printing.

Golden Press, 1971. Hardcover. Fair. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Malvern, Corinne. Attractive but flawed 8th printing of this classic, from 1971. Spine is broken/fragile, pages just hanging on in the binding, but none are loose at the moment. Wear to boards including scuffs to all corners. Pages are all clean and unmarked, with well-reproduced classic illustrations.

Racine, WI: Whitman Publishing Company, 1965. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Oechsli, Kelly. A lovely copy of this little alphabet book. Not ex-library, totally clean inside, with a bit of wear/soil to pictorial boards--a little rubbing at corners and edges. Overall very nice for the age.
