Vol 1 has a frontis and two folding plates, the other vols have folding map frontis'. Condition is GOOD+ ; vol. 1 has a cracked front joint that is holding by the three main threads. One title label gone, one damaged, all a bit curling, with spines a bit dry. Vol. 3 has scuffs to leather surface on the front. Vols 2-4 have tight bindings. There is moderate foxing to the text and some toning to margins of plates. Frontis and title pg more foxed. About 10% of the text has small pencil margin marks. Hist. RGR.

St. Louis: varied, 1916-1924. first american edition. Hardcover. Very good +. 6 x 9 in. Blue cloth library binding. Each year section is about 90 pp of text but also with numerous B&W photo plates that are unpaginated. Each year has a large fold-out printed spread-sheet, and 1916 has a large fold-out map with parks picked out in green. The map measures 34" x 24". The reports were printed by varying St. Louis printers. Condition is VERY GOOD+ ; ex-library with a binding that has gilt numbers on spine with titles, and a punched "Carnegie Library" on title pg of first section, and a bookplate on front pastedown. No other library markings. Covers clean with mild shelf wear. Binding tight. Text clean and bright and plates excellent. The map has a couple of slits along the folds, quite good for framing. Scarce.
