This book contains three intertwined projects, one being a consideration of artist Michael Morris' Letter paintings, another the complementary exhibit at the Belkin in 2012, and a third on the subject of concrete poetry. Includes a chronology to 2012, exhibition history, select bibliography and list of works from the exhibition.

Susan Chafe, design, William Eakin, photographs. 66 pages, Large format (12 x 9 inch), leporello binding, card covers, French folds; accompanying essay by Wayne Baerwaldt with translations into Portuguese, French and Japanese. VG+ condition, minor shelf wear, has original owner's name on first page, otherwise unmarked. Beautifully produced with many colour drawings by Marcel Dzama of the Royal Art Lodge.

New York: Viking Studio, 1999. Paperback. Unpaginated; large square format, card covers, French folds. A collaboration beween photographer Judy Olausen and her mother Vivian, who is photographed with vintage props to represent aspects of stereotypical domestic roles of the 1950s. Alternately hilarious, touching.and cringe-making, but Vivian seems to be havibg a blast. VG condition with some sticker residue.

London UK: Shenval Press, 1954. N/A. Pamphlet. Very Good. 20 p. large square pamphlet, staple bound, explaining the purposes of the Fund. Colour and B & W photos of notable acquisitions. HM the Queen listed as Patron, members of the committee include many notable individuals, including Sir Anthony Blunt, then Surveyor of the Queen's Pictures, later to earn infamy in the Philby affair. Cover shows the seal of the Fund, designed by Eric Gill.

A collection of photographer William Eakin's work featuring everyday and exotic items from his personal collections, ranging from velvet paintings, souvenir kitsch from Niagara Falls, a bullfighter's suit, and others, many posed with or modelled by friends and family members; includes a "Forward" which is actually at the end of the photo section, by Louise May, artistic director of the St. Norbert Arts Centre, and essays by Lorne Dion, Robert Epp, Robin Laurence, Ian Ross, Robert Enright and Meeka Walsh on aspects of Eakin's artistic vision.
