A title in the Air Combat for Boys Series. This title listed first of three on the rear jacket panel, "War Wings" being the last. A tight, bright copy, pages somewhat embrowned as usual. In a bright, crisp example of the color illustrated dust jacket featuring a WWI aerial dogfight, fine with a mere trace of wear at the upper tip and flap fold. Very nice indeed.

First separate edition of this adventure tale that first appeared serialized in a pulp magazine in 1935. Fine except for a small date written top corner of the first page. In this entry, air ace Dusty Ayres continues his battle against the bloody Black invaders and is ordered to capture "Fire-Eyes". Can he prevail against the flame-spewing Black superplane, the terrible Telsa ship, scourge of the skies?!
