for J. Tonson, London, 1729. Fifth edition of all 175 issues in two volumes. Engraved title vignettes. 8vo (6 3.4 x 4 inches), pages: 350 & 358, each volume with unpaginated index. Contemporary panelled tan calf, joints and headbands rubbed bur very sound. Engraved plate pasted to front pastedown of both volumes.

Large newspaper folio, a single sheet folded. Reporting details of the funeral of George III and of the Cato Street Conspiracy, this illustrated with 3 woodcut illustrations. Very good.

London: William Little, 1855. Profusely illustrated with wood engravings throughout. Folio (16 1/8 x 11 1/2 inches), 672-pages. Handsomely bound recent half tan morocco, tan cloth sides, spine gilt ruled and with double black gilt lettering pieces. Last leaf silked, one leaf re-margined, one fold of one folding plate reinforced. Some soiling to title, a little staing to a couple of leaves else internally excellent. Much, of course, on the Crimean war. Very heavy, extra overseas postage will be requested.

London:1859. Profusely illustrated. Folio (16 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches). 652-pages. Original green cloth pictorially blocked in gilt, spine decorated in gilt. Endpapers foxed, upper inner hinge split, lower inner hinge pulled. Binding gilt bright. Heavy, thus extra overseas postage will be requested.

Two volumes folio (19 x 13 1/2 inches). 1,368-pages. Old cloth-backed marbled boards. Bindings worn, dust & damp marked but sound. Internally very good, Weight 8.3 kg thus extra shipping will be requested. Uncommon.

Newspaper large folio, each a single sheet folded. The copy for the 16th with creased margins and with short edge tear, at one time badly folded but overal good, the copy for the 15th very good.

London: Printed by Richard Baldwin, near the Oxford-Arms-Inn, Warwick Lane, 1691. Folio, single leaf (13 x 8 1/4 inches), printed on both sides in double column. Chipping at head and base with loss affecting 4-lines of text at the head of the reverse. An uncommon early newspaper. Contents: 1. Reflections on the Address of the Parliament to the King and Queen. 2. On the Parliaments' taking into their consideration the state of the Nation. 3. It's Sacrilege to purloin any of the Money given for carrying out the war. 4. And how. 5. In the meantime, a speedy supply must be given, or we are yet undone.

No general title-page. [ Richard Phillips, London, 1814 ]. 8vo (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches), 650-pages. Illustrations. Contemporary half tan calf over marbled boards. Headbands chipped, backstrip cracked, joints cracked but firm, scattered foxing.

Large newspaper folio, single sheet folded with on the front page large woodcut illustration being " A faithful representation of the Interior of the House of Lords as prepared for the Trial of Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Caroline". Holed with loss on central horizontal fold, margins creased, short tears.
