Readers/collectors of SF fandom should note that this is the (in)famous issue that published a letter to the editor (Tremaine), reporting the death of great SF fan Bob Tucker. Tremaine wrote a heart-felt tribute, included in this issue. The letter was a hoax. Tucker lived another 70 years, and wrote (as Wilson Tucker) a lot of great SF and mystery fiction. When Tremaine learned of the hoax, he imposed severe restrictions on printing subsequent fan letters to the editor. Other than the cover price, the only difference between the 25¢ and 35¢ issues is on the copyright page, where the statement "25¢ per Copy" at the bottom of the 25¢ page has been blackened out on the 35¢ page.
