Boston: D. Lothrop Company, 1893. Scarce copy of a classic cookbook. 157 pp. with index. Yellow decorative boards with image of pots and cooking tools on front and a casserole dish on back. Covers are very worn and have significant shelfwear. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed to boards, edges rubbed to boards, joints exposed, dirt smudges and small tears on cover faces. Spine is creased, spine ends are torn and fraying. Broken hinges. Pages 13-16 torn from book and have severe chipping to edges. Other interior pages have chipping, small tears, but text is easily legible. Pages browning and spine loose. Book in Fair condition.. Boards. Fair. Size: Approx. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2". Cookbook.
