Hi, This lot is an 1952 Original Hardback Wisden, It is in Good Conditon, a tale of two halves , the boards are very nice indeed with the gilts to the front and spine both bright and shiny, hardly a mark to the boards just some spotting to the page block. Internally however both the hinges are split and you can see mesh, the book is still very well bound together, the pages inside are nice and clean, just the hinges marking this book down although it is pretty common for a broken hinge for this year. Condition (Out of 10) = 6

Hi, This lot is a 1953 Original Linen Wisden. It is in Very Good condition. This book has wonderful bright covers and very clean pages inside, there is some fraying to the edge of the linen covers but a nice straight spine and great hinges. Shelf wear to base of the page block but a very nice book for the year. Condition (Out of 10) = 8

Hi, This lot is an 1953 Original Hardback Wisden, The book is in OK condition, it looks worse than it actually is, the big issue with this book is that the edge of the boards to front and back are very worn/stained. Internally the book is great, strong hinges, clean pages, odd mark to page block. The front gilt is bright and the spine gilt is a bit dark but present. Priced nicely. Condition (Out of 10) = 5

Hi, This lot is an 1953 Rebound Wisden , with the original covers bound within. This book is in OK Condition at best. You do not see rebinds too often after '37 as linens tend to hold together well but this one is from 1953 and rebound in brown boards with gilt to the spine. The binding is pretty new and very tightly bound. The internaal book has seen better days, very worn covers and lots of Chelmsford Library stamps to the covers (cannot see any inside) worn contents to the front and rear of the book. One for the rebind collector. Condition (Out of 10) = 5

Hi, This lot is an 1954 Original Hardback Wisden, in Good to Very Good Condition. The baords are nice , quite shiny with small marks, the gilt is better than many 54's but some dullness in places, what is great is that the hinges are strong and the pages inside nice and clean. A tiny bit of spotting to the very front and rear of the book and some marks to the inside front board but overall adecent Wisden. Condition (Out of 10) = 7

Internally this book is super, the hinges are strong and the pages are nice and white.... externally the front board has a lot of markings to it , perhaps something split on it many years ago but it is a but ugly to the front board but the gilts are bright. Hi, This lot is a 1954 Original Linen Wisden. It is in Good condition, the main issue with this book is that it is quite dark to the covers and spine and the page edges, other than that it is tightly bound and presentable. The front cover has a crease to the bottom right hand corner as shown. Small cloth nick to the base of the spine by the W. Condition (Out of 10) = 6

This 1954 must have slipped Brian by as it is not to the great standard of the rest, it has heavily marked boards and crease to front board, nice inside with bright spine gilt though. Next to 1959-55 it looks poor but a decent copy next to another 54. Benno s Notes : piii ""10/-"". P 115-124 top corner folded. More information on request. Condition (Out of 10) = 7

The covers are in good order, there is a name or autograph to the front , slight spine bowing and nice pages inside but the front hinge is weak but the book is tightly bound and very readable. Hi, This lot is a 1954 Wisden Hardback. The book is from the Barnsley Library and so have the usual Library downsides, such as book plates and the odd stamps, inside and to the page block. This Hardback is in good condition though, the gilts are still bright but other than the library parts it is a decent 1954, some stamps inside and to the page block and the spine has a library marks. The rear hinge is splitting. Condition (Out of 10) = 6

Hi, This lot is a 1955 Original Hardback Wisden, the book is in very good+ condition, the gilts are excellent to the front and the spine, the boards are very clean too. Internally the hinges are super strong, like it hasn't been opened. The only issue is that there is some ruffling to the base of the spine cloth and a couple of small dot marks. A very nice book. Hi, I am moving to Spain so alas I am selling my Wisden Collection. Here we have an 1955 Original Hardback, sort of. In Good Condition. This is a very strange looking book, from the front it look slike a hardback from the 1950s, but then you notice the cloth to the boards is like the 1949 and different material, then you open it up and the first and last pages are blank, so looks a bit like a fancy rebind. Other than the blank pages it is complete , fadings to gilt but would suit a collector that likes oddities. Condition (Out of 10) = 7
