Edition limited to 750 copies, octavo, pp. 82 plus pp. [7] index. SIGNED by the author on the free front endpaper. Includes a generous 28-page section of black and white illustrations. Laid in is a small slip from what is assumed to be the publisher's secretary stating that a Mr. Aycock has ordered two autographed copies of the book. T. Brennan Bookseller has now acquired both those copies, which are nicely done-up in black pebbled leatherette with gilt spine and front cover lettering. A previous owner's small coding notation at bottom of last page, and light shelf and consultation wear, but generally Very Good and sound.

Hardcover. Publisher's blue leatherette with spine lettering gilt, octavo, pp. 304. Black and white illustrations. Previous owner has made a name and address notation in ink on the front pastedown and also recommended that future readers should see pages 194, 209, and 210. On those pages, she has bracketed passages about herself and about the Westminster Choir. There are some faint old tidelines near the bottom of the fore-edge, but they do not travel into the text. Unobtrusive old tidelines near top of last blank endpaper and rear pastedown, as well. Withal, GOOD and sound. Wanting a dust jacket.

Black cloth with spine lettering gilt, octavo, pp. viii, 200. GOOD with shelf bump on top edge near spine (See Photo 3 for our best attempt at a close-up). Dust jacket VERY GOOD and ensconced in a sheet or archival mylar.

Publisher's side-stapled printed wrappers, octavo, pp. 49. Frontis portrait of J. C. Harris and other black and white illustrations in the text. Fragile spine is weak with shelf and handling wear, chips, and abrasions. A nick on bottom edge of upper wrap and a short vertical tear at foot of spine. A couple of old spot discolorations. Withal, about GOOD and protected now from any further wear in a clear new Ultra-Pro sleeve.

Publisher's stapled gray wrappers, octavo, pp. 44. Front cover a little edge-fading from exposure to sun. Rear panel is chafed (but not torn) at bottom edge. See photo image for our best attempt at a close-up. Otherwise, just light wear, as with age and handling. Protected now in a clear display sleeve with white card-stock backing board.

Price-clipped dust jacket Good-only with some sunning on the spine and a long vertical front panel scratch or production-fault crease akin to a thin pleat. Jacket ensconced now in a new sheet of archival Brodart.

Single sheet stationery measuring 9 x 6 inches. Letter from a High Street address in Brookline, Mass., dated January, 1906. Letter housed safely now in a clear protective display sleeve with white card-stock backing board. Letter only; there is no envelope. Transcription as follows: Dear Gramma, Will answer the letter you wrote to sis, We are all right dont worry about any dreams. Sis hasnt had any time to do anything. I just wrote this letter to let you know that we are all right. How is every thing down there. Tell Kindall to write and tell me what he has killed or caught in traps this winter. It has been rainning for two days. I will send you and Aunt Annie a post card to day. I Will make sis write to you that is all for this time from William Emery, Jr. Kisses XXXX.

Gilt lettered and illustrated red cloth, octavo, pp. xv, 125. Black and white illustrations. Map. This unique copy inscribed by the Author on the front pastedown to Ellen Hynds Vincent, widow of Tennessee Newspaper Hall of Fame columnist Bert Vincent. Mrs. Vincent has taped a lengthy column by Jean Bible across the free front endpapers. Additionally, at the end of the book, Mrs. Vincent has taped two newspaper articles from 1976: One is about the Author, and the other is an ad for an Autograph Tea to be given for the Author by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of Dandridge, TN. A pleasant touch is the Author's name gilt near the bottom edge of the front cover. GOOD condition with mild shelf and handling wear. Dust jacket was not issued. Printed in Rogersville, TN, by the East Tennessee Printing Company.

Edition limited to 300 copies, of which this is number 199, in stapled beige card-stock wrappers with upper panel portrait of Ellen Reed Butler Whitworth, octavo, pp. iv, 165. NOTE that despite the fact that the limitation states the run is signed, this copy is NOT signed. Light shelf wear and wrapper toning. Scattered foxing on text block top edge. Uncommon in trade and institutional holdings, with a 2022 OCLC search returning Atlanta History Center; Georgia Department of Archives; Sara Hightower Regional Library; and University of Georgia only.

Stapled wrappers, octavo, pp. 59 plus ads. Fair condition with shelf and handling wear. Staples rusty. Spine rubbed and strengthened long ago with a strip of tape. Previous owner has made a few pencil notes and a library call number inside front wrap. Numerical stamp at top edge of 1st page. Text unmarked.

Publisher's cream-colored cloth with gilt spine lettering and upper board decorative Christianity device, octavo, pp. 231. Illustrated. Upper board fore-edge extends slightly beyond lower board fore-edge, as in an overbite, and the light cloth shows shelf and consultation wear a bit more obviously than if publisher had chosen a darker color. GOOD and sound, withal.

Stapled wrappers, octavo, pp. 14. Fourteen pages of World War ll military personnel with information particulars divided into columns with headings such as Name; Station; Home; Leave; Date of Rank; Revert to Inactive Status dates; and more. Looking over the many names among these pages. it occurs to us that a great deal of genealogical research might be done by a hobbyist or other interested party, particularly as concerns Women in the Military. On page 10, for example, is a 2D LT Mary Virginia Fletcher of Castlewood, VA, who was for a time at Ft. Bragg. Searching the Library of Virginia's online Virginia Chronicle, we located in the Lebanon News, Volume 115, Number 6593, 22 November 1995, a short biographical / autobiographical entry concerning the Lieutenant and some of her reminiscences of service. The paper used for printing this item has become somewhat limp over the decades, but it is safely stored now in a clear protective display sleeve with white card-stock backing board.

A few illustrations. Wear and shelf rubbing on wrappers. Previous owner name in a small hand inside front panel near top edge. Internally unmarked and free of foxing.

Hardcover, octavo, pp. 228. Text plus many, many tables. Some pages foxed. Boards have small scratches here and there, as seen in the photos we have provided. We liken these to old war wounds accumulated over a century of handling. Withal, Good and sound in maroon cloth with upper board lettering gilt within fancy blind rules. Spine's git lettering has faded. The binding is nicely done to our eyes by Smith and Reid of Augusta.

Softcover, octavo, pp. 28. Illustrations of Bray; Bray's home; Wellcome at age 80; and Wellcome at 30. Just a bit of wear and toning, as with age and handling, but nearly very good in the publisher's stapled textured gray wrappers, and ensconced now in a clear protective display sleeve with white cardstock backing board.
