Baltimore: Walt Disney Productions, 1939. Ephemera. Single Sheet. Very Good. 8 X 10 Inches. Original circa 1939 double-sided advertisement for a three day run of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at the Vilma Theatre in Baltimore, MD. The front features a fabulous illustration of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that and the back details the city and location of the show. We have only ever seen one more of these, but the back was from a different theatre in a different city. After the original release of the film in 1937, it took some time for it to make it to much of America. Throughout 1937 and 1938 you could count the number of theaters showing "Snow White' on one hand as we understand it. The date we are providing of 1939 is assumed as we believe this was the first year it would have even been available for showing in Baltimore. <br /> <br /> Horizontal fold and one two-inch closed tear to edge. Light toning. A very rare specimen.

Original First Printing with the "A" in the gutter of the final page of text. Original #84 on front cover. Light scuffing and light wear to edges. A bit of wear to paper spine. The is the TRUE first edition with all points and the proper back cover as opposed to most listed!

Walt Disney (staff). 7 3/4 X 10 1/4 Inches. 64 Pages. 1933 First Edition of the Walt Disney Enterprises version of The Three Little Pigs. The tale of the pigs is much earlier, having been included in works by Andrew Lang and Joel Chandler Harris. This 1933 Silly Symphonies version by Disney is by far the most popular and well known of all the early "Pig" tales. Book itself has a small chip to the head of the spine. The original dust jacket has a few small chips at the folds as well as a few closed tears and some wrinkling. The original price of $1.00 is intact. A nice copy overall with ALL of the color plates intact!
