Published by the Macmillan Company (USA). 1970 Copyright, First Printing. Two volume bookset that has deckled edges, both books have a tight binding. Light purple publisher's top stain. The spines of both volumes are faded from exposure to sun, as the hardcovers are a light blue but the spines are more of a light green. All of the pages are clean of markings or writing and while it was likely flipped through, it appears to be an unread set of books. The slipcase has some discoloration/fade/wear, especially at the edges as well as several scratches and wear-through, particularly the bottom. Overall though, this set is in Very Good condition.

NO dust jacket. Orange-red hardcovers show significant wear to include heavy spine lean, bowed and curved boards, noticeable tanning and sunfade to the spine and edges, nicks to the edges, bumped corners, worn-through spine head and tail, bumped spine head and tail, scratches, soiling, white spots, and shelfwear. Book is heavily cracked at page 510-511 with hard creases throughout the volume that will eventually crack (such as page 482). Boards bow as viewed from the top edge. The nicks to the edges have caused distorted edges and worn-through areas. Tanned and scratched textblock with spots, smudges/rubbing, stains, and soiling.… Leer más
