Much material inside on San Quentin Six trial and grand jury (4+ pages), Attica uprising interviews (3+ pages), Brazilian armed guerillas (3 pages), West Coast ILWU strike (2 pages), and full-page poster for "October 8: Day of the Heroic Guerrilla". Plus usual news and ads of the era.

First issue is a photoreproduced replacement made after the initial run had been distributed. The ET later became the Bolshevik Tendency.

A novelization of the film starring John Cassavetes & Sidney Poitier. Story of waterfront workers in the 1950s. Aurthur co-wrote Cassavetes' "Shadows" about race relations in the big city. He also wrote several other films starring Poitier. Pohl was a successful science fiction writer.

Six-panel brochure folded to 4.75x8.5 inches, bullet points, biographical background, stands on Gay Rights, list of individuals and groups endorsing Blackwell, application to volunteer, lightly-worn on light yellow stock. African American politician who served as a dockworker and as president of the International Longshoremen's Association, Local 1332. He served as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1973 to 1975, Philadelphia City Council from 1975 to 1991, and the United States House of Representatives from 1991 to 1995.
