Marisabina Russo (1950-) is an American children's book author and illustrator who began her career as an illustrator for The New Yorker. Her most notable books are The Line Up Book, Always Remember Me and Sophie Sleeps Over.

There is a crease to the cover which continues inside.

This is a first edition (1950) of Old Dolls, the classic book on doll collecting by the American expert Eleanor St. George. In it, there are photos and descriptions of the most collectible dolls (Peddler, Greiner, China-Head etc), where to find them, how to they should be dressed etc.
The original owner of this book signed the front endpaper, and had the book preserved by having it professionally wrapped in mylar. The inside is in superb condition; the pages are all clear and remarkably white.

This is a third impression (1968) of Peter Carl Faberge, Goldsmith and Jeweller to the Russian Imperial Court, His Life and Work, written by the English author Henry Charles Bainbridge and first published in 1949.

Bainbridge was Faberge's friend, and manager of the Faberge branch in London. So this book has a lot of personal detail about the great jeweler, and his pieces. There are 17 color plates and 112 black and white, showing an array of his magnificent creations.

167 pages, 8 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 1 1/2".

This is a high-quality book and is a little heavy.

The dust jacket has shelfwear, mainly at the top, where you can also see price tag remnants.

Aside from minor darkening of the paper, the book itself is in perfect condition.

This is a first edition copy of Sotheby's Caring for Antiques: The Complete Guide to Handling, Cleaning, Display and Restoration, published in 1992 and written by curators at the famed British auction house.
It is a beautiful book, very high-end, heavily illustrated and telling you how to look after everything from jewellery to furniture to scientific instruments to paintings.

This is the second printing (1971) of The Tower of London, by the British author R.J. Minney. It was first published in 1970 and was a best-seller. It is a chronicle of the events, and a discussion of the major exhibits, at the famous building.

This is a first edition (1971) of Tower of London, by the English historian Christopher Hibbert (1924-2008). It is the story of one of the world's most famous buildings, covering its history of political intrigue, religious crises, and numerous uses (royal residence, prison, fortress etc.)
172 pages, including 100 photographs, half in color. There is a special section on The Tower in Literature. Aside from some light scuffing to the cover (see photos), this book is in mint condition.

This is a first US edition of The Village in England, which was originally published (in the UK) as The Village in History. It is a serious social history which includes the effects of political changes and wars. There is a section on geographic areas and sections on barns, farms, churches and furniture.There's at least one photograph and/or illustration on every page.197 pages. 8" x 11"There's a tear in the dust jacket which has been taped.And the book was improperly stored all of these years, so there's a bend in the pages--not a crease, and the cover is perfect. This book does not appear to have been read and is otherwise pristine.
