Brown, Jr. First published 1726 (these are five of 15 sermons published together), a decade before Butler became Clerk of the Closet to Queen Caroline and, later, Bishop of Durham. The topics are "Human Nature" and "Love of Our Neighbor". 5-3/8" x 8" pamphlet in gray stapled card wraps, discolored to brown around edges, smudge to upper right of front cover; edges age-toned, page margins barely so.
