HMCS Beacon Hill was a River-class frigate that was built by Yarrows Shipbuilding, Esquimalt, British Columbia, and served in the Royal Canadian Navy as an ocean convoy escort during the Second World War. Although decommissioned in 1946 she was recommissioned in 1957-1967 and reclassified as a Prestonian-class frigate and became a member of the Fourth Canadian Escort Squadron and acted as a training vessel until 1967 then sold for scrap in 1968. Great photo here is likely from the 1960's, suitable for framing with pinholes in the corners and some light blemishes. Name of ship at the bottom of the photo would be out of the framing area.
