Covers are a little faded, owner's name and "1918" written at top front corner [otherwise, the book is undated. Contents are unmarked and in excellent condition. This was a new concept at the time. With the corvair engine taking up so little space, the payload space was increased. These trucks do have an off look, including a "pickup" with a side ramp. This is a book about the EARLY days of railroads, so illustrations of some of the early trains is in the form of drawings. The author did a great job of illustrating this book, particularly the 16 color plates in the middle of the book which really could be framed.
