Bound in period tree calf, raised bands, gilt tooling. At some time, [ not recently ], corners of boards have been repaired, some scuffing and abrasion wear, head of spine chipped, rubbed. Generally a nice binding. Internally, a few plates have minor crease marks, 1 plates lacking part of margin, not affecting engraved area. Pages and plates in good clean condition.
