Dustjacket. 270pp. Very light wear to the binding, some isolated scuffing and shelfwear to the extremities, in a dustjacket with some light, shallow wear to the edges and a little toning to the spine, a very good copy. A decent collection of stories from the supporting pillars of mid-century science fiction; conatins stories by Sam Moscowitz, Harlan Ellison, and Harry Harrison as well as the other usual suspects.

An uncommon bit of London juvenilia, a poem of 17 stanzas written around 1899 and originally published in the San Francisco Call in 1899. An attractive set of Burroughs's final trilogy of novels. A near fine copy in like dustjacket, bright, clean and fresh. Housed in a tailor made leather spined case. Inscribed by the author to the front flyleaf: "For Jules and Joyce and also Joan with love John Steinbeck." Beneath the signature is one of Steinbeck's irreverent flying pig sketches (or "Pigasus" if you prefer), generally an indication that the recipient of his presentation was a close and valued friend,or someone he held in high esteem. In this case it was Jules Buck, and Joyce Gates, with their young daughter, Joan. Dustjacket. 265pp. Light bumping to spine ends, some minor scuffing to the cloth to extremities and a little insignificant soiling, in a bright and clean decorated dustjacket with a closed tear to the head of the front spine hinge and an unfortunate 2 inch section of loss to the base of the spine panel, essentially a good copy of a book seldom seen in jacket. Internally clean and most handsome. A very good, handsome copy. Internally clean. Top edge stained red, fore-edge untrimmed. Some offsetting to the pastedown and flyleaf gutters. The second volume in apek's notional "Noetic" trilogy, and a strange slightly surreal novel in which three people affected by the death of a passenger in a plane crash tell their own versions of the dead person's story.
