Hamburg: Mildred Thompson, 1960. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/fair. Hardcover, illustrated by the author. Thompson was best known as an American abstract expressionist painter. She spent much of her adult life abroad but returned to the U.S. as artist in residence at Howard University. This was the only children's book she produced. Some toning to the paper covered boards but still a very good copy with clean contents and solid binding in a fair dust jacket (heavy soiling and chipping). Very rare.

New York: The Viking Press, 1980. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine/very good. First printing, hardcover. INSCRIBED and signed by Myers on the half title page. A lightly used near fine copy with clean contents and tight binding in a very good dust jacket (price clipped, several edge tears). Now protected in an archival cover.

NP: Betty McBratnie, 1969. Presumed first edition. Paperback. Very good. Paperback, illustrated by John H. Hooton. SIGNED by the author on inside cover. Owner note on title page, creasing to bottom corner and cover, else a very good copy with clean contents in sound staple bound wrappers.

No dust jacket as issued.

A clean near fine copy with solid binding and no marking in the text in a good dust jacket (price clipped, soiled, closed edge tears, chip at heel of spine). Still an attractive copy and now protected in an archival cover.

Non authorial gift inscription on front endpaper inscribed in pencil and dated in year of publication, otherwise a near fine copy with clean text and tight binding in bright green pictorial cloth covers. Springfield: McLoughlin Bros., Inc., 1943. Later Edition. Hardcover, unpaginated, illustrated with 6 panels with pull tabs which changes the image. Title page is detatched from the spiral binding, one of the illustrations is missing one of the pull tabs. Some expected wear to the covers but the illustrations are bright and clean. A good copy.

London: Hamlyn, 1988. Later Edition. Hardcover. Near fine. Hardcover, illustrated by Shirley Willis. Signed by Willis as well as her husband David Salaryia, also a well known illustrator. I'm not completely sure what connection he had with this publication except for his relationship to Ms. Willis. They probably attended an event together and a collector asked for both signatures. A lightly used near fine copy in pictorial glossy covers. No dust jacket.

Missoula: Mountain Press Publishing Company, 1973. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine/very good. hardcover, illustrated, 93 pages. Warmly INSCRIBED by Guthrie and signed "Bud'. Light shelf wear to the board edges, still a near fine copy with clean contents and tight binding in a very good dust jacket (just some sunning to the spine and a few rubbed spots on the front panel and at spine along front and rear gutters). Protected in a mylar cover.

Dobbs Ferry: Clermont Press, 1936. First Edition. Very good/very good. hardcover, illustrated by Anne Cordts McKeown, unpaginated. Covers are bowed, some light foxing to the page edges, else this is a tight fine copy with original glassine wrapper (only a couple of tears and one small chip). The dust jacket is soiled and has a few short closed edge tears, still a very good copy which is now protected by mylar. A really nice copy.

Heavy crease to front board that runs from top edge near gutter to fore edge and is also visible inside front cover. A good copy only in a fine unflawed dust jacket which is now covered in mylar.
