A splendid, old-school text book that sticks so closely to basics that we recommend it for the undergraduate electrical engineering major who is looking for a career with GE or an electric utility, rather than with a semi-conductor manufacturer. Mind you this is an old-school but not an old-style textbook, it has all the two-color printing the eye can take; but it deals with electricity more than electronics, and presents enough math for one to pass a GRE, but not enough for one to write one. Refreshing! Substantial programming is involved. Though the publisher offers a PSPICE Circuit Analysis 5 1/4" floppy, it probably won't work in your machine (it doesn't in our older ones): just download MicroSim's current version from the Net.
