The central work in this issue is the translation of Czech writer Arnost Lustig's short novel (about 60 pages), "Colette," which grows out of Lustig's Nazi labor camp experiences. Colette is a 19-year-old Jewish girl from Belgium who searches for meaning and love in Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp. Later published as a separate work in the Czech Republic (1992). Other contributions include fiction from Reynolds Price and poetry, essays, reviews, and drama. . Paperback original. Soft Cover.
