A fascinating inside view of the role of social and political youth groups in the early days of liberated Ghana under Kwame Nkrumah. The author considers Nkrumah's role in fostering a utopian socialist viewpoint and physical health culture in members of the Ghana Young Pioneers, as well as the group's dismantlement after the coup of 1966. A scarce and useful primary source for scholars interested in African independence movements and socialist utopian politics in the Global South during the 1960s. As of November 2020, we can find no copies online, and no record of institutional holdings in North America.

Declaring war on the boring culture of computer-based entrepreneurship, the issue also includes comics drawn by the publisher, as well as a strip by Saša Rakezić, harkening back to the early days of the civil war in former Yugoslavia. Promotional booklet issued by a Mexican tobacco manufacturer to promote American football, which once rivaled soccer as the country's most popular collegiate sport. The game first came to Mexico in the 1920s, imported from the United States by Mexican students returning from American prep schools. In 1927, two brothers -- both fans of Notre Dame -- launched the first formal Mexican football team at National Autonomous University of Mexico. The UNAM "Pumas" eventually became so dominant in Mexico that the team drew attention across the border in the United States, attracting invitations to participate in regional Bowls and tournaments. The Peace and Freedom Party of California was organized in early 1967, gathering over 103,000 registrants which qualified its ballot status in January 1968 under the California Secretary of State Report of Registration.

After the popular election of a communist government under the leadership of E. M. S. Namboodiripad in 1957 during the first elections of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, opposition parties comprised of wealthy property owners organized a "liberation struggle" to resist plans under development that would have re-distributed land and implemented educational reforms in the province. The present publication provides a vivid account of the effort, both in photographs and contemporary texts.
