Covers have quite a few wrinkles. Pages are clean and unmarked.

Front cover has seen some wear, but the back cover is mostly missing. Owner's name and brief inscription inside front cover. Pages are all present and accounted for, unmarked and intact. A boy goes off to perform in a circus. A classic from the mid 20th century. If you want to read the story rather than have it add to your décor, this book is priced appropriately.

This version of The Velveteen Rabbit says it is "adapted for younger readers". The front cover has a heavy crease running across from top to bottom. The rest of the pages and the back cover have nothing worse than a little corner curling. A plush rabbit answers the question: What does it take to be "real"?

The staples that held the book together have pulled free, so all the pages are present, they just are no longer connected to the cover. The pages are unmarked, intact and only slightly discolored from age. The cover itself has wear at the edges and corners. Part of Whitman's 1950s Cozy Corner series.

Creases, chips, folds, even a small piece missing from the lower right front corner (see photo). Pages are solidly attached to the binding and only a few have folded corners, but there is some discoloration. An eminently readable copy, but no beauty.

The only serious blemish is a small stain (1 cm diameter) near the top of the inside front cover, and on both sides of the first page. A few minor wrinkles on the covers. Retelling of the Disney movie plot.

A collection of high school level lab experiments in physics, 65 in total. From a time before hand calculators, so features use of trig and logarithm tables and slide rules. A bored student experimented with a ball point pen on the cover, but there are only a few pencil marks inside the text. These are primarily calculations related to 3-4 experiments with lenses. Otherwise the pages are clean. Bored student's name inside front cover.

Spine creases and wear at the corners and edges. 357 pages are clean, tight and readable. Author's debut novel.

Oh, the things one learns when listing a book. This is the fifth book in the Dollanganger Family series, out of eleven, of which most were not written by V. C. Andrews after all. Virginia Andrews died in 1986, making this one, published in 1987, perhaps the last one she worked on. The other six, published between 2014 and 2020, were written by Andrew Neiderman, as were any other V. C. Andrews books published after 1987. Anyway, this book has been well used and has its share of wear, plus a nice coffee stain (see the last two photos), which impacts from page 315 to the back cover. It doesn't pose any difficulty for reading the pages, but it just doesn't look nice. The price is the lowest I can go without losing money.

Little wear. Pages are clean and unmarked. This was intended for use during Christmas of 2012. I can't say if it can be useful for other Christmases, but if so, here it is. In spite of what my Kindle did to the color in photo #1, the cover is indeed a nice royal blue rather than purple. Pocket sized. (Also look for ST01297, the Little Black Book.)

But not for Tom Sawyer." Front cover has a 2 cm tear, and both front and back covers are missing a small piece at the upper corner. Pages all seem fine and unmarked. With illustrations.

A brief reader about oceans, intended for elementary level science class. 16 pages. Very little wear. Full color illustrations.

Front cover is quite creased and wrinkled, back cover less so. Many pages have wrinkles as well, with a few dog-ears, but not so much as to make reading difficult. Spine lightly creased. This edition printed in 1963 or some time shortly thereafter.
