8vo 252 page pictorial hard cover. Published by Rigby 1965. The book looks at the lives of some famous and infamous Australian women. Elizabeth Macarthur, Caroline Chisholm, Annette Flinders, convict Molly Morgan and some 'gold diggers' from the gold rushes are just a few of the characters covered. The book has many black & white photos of the people and places involved. The book is in very good condition with light shelf rubbing to the lower edges. It is an ex- Teachers'Union of Western Australia library book with Dewey number on the spine and some library stamps inside.

Small 4to 48 page pictorial soft cover. Stapled binding. A reprint of the 1948 John Sands edition. Beautiful full page colour illustrations by Patrick Watson, the book is in near fine condition and makes a wonderful children's story book. This seems to be the only Lamont edition available.

Hodder & Stoughton, 1970, 4to, 16 full page colour illustrations displaying humerous cartoons using clever play on words. The book is strongly bound and has slightly faded spine, with shelf wear to the top and bottom and a bump to the top edge of the front cover. A fun book and a joy to read.

8vo 107 page, black cloth hard cover with a gilt line illustration of Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus. Published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1949. Colour frontis and many full page colour plates. Binding is strong and firm. Pages have slight age toning and the front cover has some fading and a small stain. An excellent book to build young people's faith and understanding.

Square 4to 128 page red paper hard cover published by PR Books. 14 pages of descriptive text and 114 pages of beautiful colour photgraphs on gloss paper. The close-up photos are spectacular. The book is in near fine condition and the jacket is very good with only minor wrinkling to the top edge. This is a wonderful coffee table display book as well as a very informative read. Some related ephemera is loosely inserted.

8vo 255 pages, olive cloth boards with gilt title. Published by Drummond Tract Depot. No date but has a small owner's name dated 1893 on the FEP. The author writes about the faith and works of men from the Old Testament. There are several black & white illustrations throughout. Edges have wear and corners are bumped. The pages are lightly age toned but a good solid book for its 130 years. No others available in Australia.

A simplified version of the bible from Genesis to Revelations, the stories are enhanced by sepia prints of famous paintings and many black & white photos. The book is strongly bound and firm with some rubbing to the corners and small staining to the covers. Pages are aged toned but in excellent condition.

Australian military Quarto newspaper, 4p for the Australian forces in the Pacific during WW II. B/W photos, with stories and updates of the war against Japan. Paper is yellowed with age, stained and has chips and tears. Weakened along the folds. An extremely rare and historical piece of war memorabilia. The book is strongly bound and firm with some fading to the top edge of the cover. There is some spotting to the inside of the dust jacket flaps but other wise both book and wrapper are in excellent condition.. A related newpaper article is loosely included. To the best of my knowledge it is the only one available in Australia.

There is wear to the edges, the corners are bumped and there is some staining to the cover. Pages have some toning. A lovely book that's over 110 years old.

There are many black & white photos and a map of the study area. The book is signed by the author and is in very good condition. The dust jacket is chipped and rubbed but essentiallly complete. A small article on lyrebirds is loosely included.

Interior is clean and bright. A quantity of relevant newspaper articles are loosely included. Good condition. A piece of W.A. history that as far as I know cannot be purchased any where else.

The book is strong and firmly bound with a small amount of wear to the edges. Pages have some age yellowing and spotting. This is a fantastic example of early to mid 20th century children's books.

Rare, 4to, 96 pages, Pictorial gloss boards. Gloss pages full of colour photos and gripping descriptions of the liberation of East Timor. The book is in near fine condition with a few slight water marks on the contents page be the only issue. Everything else is as brand new. An excellent historical account of Australian and New Zealand forces in action.

Tall 8vo 428p green paper boards, published by William Heinemann in 2008 Glen McGrath talks about his early life through to running the McGrath Foundation with his wife Jane. His fierce determination led to him becoming the world's most successful fast bowler. This is a scarce book from a now very famous Australian. The book and cover are in fine condition.

Thick 4to, 512 pages, red paper hard cover. Black & white illustrations. Slightly faded spine, no dust jacket. Published by Purnell & Sons, London. ND but looks to be circa 1960. Fifteen exciting stories with titles such as Seawolf of the Channel, The Pirate Ship and Rogue Rhino. An excellent book to get all children into reading.

John Long Lon, 8vo 224p BW frontis and photos, Book is in very good cond. The DJ has small chips and wear to the extremities one small section missing from the front top edge and a 3cm tear to the rear top edge. A very interesting, well written autobiography by the 'World's Greatest Toastmaster'.

Plantagenet Press, 1995, 4to 180p Pictorial Soft Cover. A beautiful B/W photographical record of Guildford Grammar School in Western Australia. Nic Ellis is a well known, award winning photographer who captures so much more than events in each picture. The book is unmarked internally and apart from some very small bumps to the corners and slight lower edge wear it is in fine condition. A Scarce book with some related newspaper articles loosely inserted.

Otherwise the book is near fine. The dust jacket has a few small chips and bumps but is in very good condition. A beautifully presented book. Sedgwicks' Cars of the Fifties and Sixties, 1st Ed by Nordbok, 1989 is also available in very good condition for the same price.
