The dust jacket is in excellent condition, and there are no visible marks on any pages. High Lonesome was the final short story collection published during the storied southern author's lifetime. Most readers and collectors look for earlier works like Geronimo Rex (1972) and Airships (1978), but High Lonesome was a significant work in its own right. It was the only work by Hannah to be nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. This final chapter in the author's life is the perfect addition to a collection featuring such a master of the short story form.

It is in fine condition, no noticeable marks or damage; really no sign of use. The Firm - the Mississippi author's second novel - became his first bestseller, launching his career as a novelist. This early paperback copy has the original cover art and appears to have been owned by an Oxford, Mississippi resident (based on the name written inside the cover). History of the Second World War - Complete 6 Volumes. Very Good. Volume 1 has a small stain on the front cover, but besides that all of the books are in excellent condition. All of the magazines inside are in great condition, and the 6 volumes contain all 96 issues. In 1973, Marshall Cavendish published what would today be considered a strange series, especially for the magazine form. In 96 weeks it published 96 issues of a magazine detailing the history of World War II. Strikingly well-researched and written, the six volumes include over 3000 maps, photographs, and diagrams (most in color). There's also a good mix of academic historical rigor, entertainment value, and even first-hand accounts. We are unlikely to experience such an impressive undertaking in magazine form ever again. For the history buff, World War II collector, or just eclectic book collector, these six volumes are a must-have.Note that because of the weight of these six volumes combined, the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs.

Methuselah's Children by Robert Heinlein. First Edition. Very Good. Dust Jacket - Good Condition, Second State, Price Clipped. Gray Cloth Boards - Currey B Binding. This is a Very Good first edition of Methuselah's Children (1958) by Robert Heinlein. It is the Currey B Binding of the first edition with Gray Cloth Boards (which actually look like they are harder to come by online). The book itself is in very good condition, with slight browning to the pages (as is common with almost every first edition copy of this book) and a few almost unnoticeable stains. The dust jacket is second state (no New York address of the publisher on the back), and it has some relatively large tears or missing pieces on the front corners, back cover, and spine (see pictures). First serialized in 1941, but later published in book form for the first time in 1958, Methuselah's Children is one of the more interesting novels written by Robert Heinlein. It is in fine condition, with only a few slight markings on the slipcase. Comes complete with a letter from the publisher authenticating the signature.Just six years after he left office, Richard Nixon began his surprising ascent into the status of elder statesman with the publishing of The Real War. In it, he describes his views regarding what he considered the biggest threat to America at the time - the Soviet Union. It's an interesting, in-depth analysis of foreign policy and geopolitical realities, but also includes the sometimes strange Nixonesque style that America has come to know. Rare signed first edition of Peanuts Jubilee (1975) by Charles Schulz with LOA from JSA. No dust jacket. Boards are brown instead of silver (silver is common with other first editions) – could be second state, but still stated first edition on copyright page. Boldly signed on the title page by Charles Schulz. The book is in Good to Very Good condition with some scuffing on the front cover and back (bound to happen on a book this large), as well as some shelf ware to the spine. There are a few slight stains on the title page, but besides that, none of the other pages are damaged.
