Letters of Fredrika Bremer, Swedish writer/reformer, about her journey to the US. She had a large influence on the social development in Sweden, especially in feminist issues. In the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Mrs. March reads from Fredrika Bremer to her four daughters. LOC SSS-20

Small stain near bottom of rear cover. DJ is unclipped and Good+ with moderate shelf/edge wear, rubbing and soiling. - now in mylar. Frank Harris liked to portray himself as a Cassanova of the 1890’s. Others found many of his claims scarcely credible. This author skillfully and sympathetically excavated an amusing and vivid biography from the debris of lies and excesses left behind by his subject. LOC SSS-20
