CONDITION: UNREAD (clean & tight) 2001 Centering Corporation paperback (stapled wraps), revised edition. Color illustrations are by Kristi McClendon. CONTENT: This is a gentle, but informative, book for young children dealing with loss of a loved one - the entire sequence of the actual death to the funeral and burial or cremation. I don't see this book as religious nor do I see it as anti-religious, but as the compassionate science of death with a lesson on observing the feelings and beliefs of those who are grieving also. I found it moving, accurate, and comforting in catering to the questions and feelings of a child. Perhaps you will also.

I bought it for a friend who reads Norwegian and then found out this is not in Norwegian. Offering it to someone who does read Swedish. The B&W illustrations are clever and funny - or at least I perceive them as fun. May take place in Bulgaria. I found information about it on Wikipedia, BUT that IS in Swedish. *Sigh* The book has 4 lightly bumped corners, decorated end pages, Anyway, the price is just enough to pay the fees and to mail it to you, if you want it. Wish I could tell you more. Oh, Tidens Forlag seems to be important. Any takers?
