Macmillan 1940 1st edition.. Neat ownership inscription to front pastedown. edges, eps, and preliminaries foxed else a clean attractive G-VG copy in G+ dustwrapper (price-clipped, tanned, chipped around head & tail of spine, one wormhole through lower front edge - see image, but no major loss or tears).. Decorated avocado cloth boards. 151pp illustrated 8vo. Author is the Baden-Powell of Mafeking fame and this was the last of his books published before his death in Kenya in 1941. "In this book you will find a few odd yarns about the birds and beasts of Kenya which I hope may interest you".

Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Board corners bumped. Foxing to interior, but otherwise bright and clean. Binding is strong and firm and square.
