The Hampshire Bookshop, 1937. Hard cover. Good. Cover is worn with the corner edges being slightly bumped. The top and bottom edges of the spine are bumped with the spine itself being tanned, but not affecting legibility. Spine is shaken, but binding is secure. Pages are slightly yellowed, but otherwise they are clean and unmarked.

4to in cloth 813 pp. G+. Foxing to boards and spine. Cloth slightly frayed along top edge of spine. Binding is strong. Text block is clean and tight. Inscribed by Samuel A. Eliot, Jr. on the front flyleaf. There are a few scattered arrows marked in the margins (see fourth photo for an example). Ships wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely in a box.

Bagg, one of the co-authors; it is signed by him on the verrso of the ffep. and contains many marginal notes and some underlinings in the text by him. Binding is slightly sunned at spine and shows negligible dust-soling, else fine.
