Significant changes took place in the life of the Winnebago Indian since the book was first published in 1932. Hence the need for this 1946 edition, presenting the work of the Winnebago Indian Mission of the Reformed Church. The mission work was done in the Black River Falls and Neillsville areas of Wisconsin. Clean with minor wear to covers.

Stiff paper orange wraps with elaborate black decorations on front cover, black lettering on spine, 8vo, 177 pp. Illustrated with full page plates. History of the Winnebago (Ho Chunk) Native Americans in Wisconsin, and especially a history of the Indian Church at Black River Falls and the Indian Mission School at Neillsville, and the work of the Rev. Jacob Stucki of the Reformed Church. No marks in book, binding solid. There is a moisture stain in the gutter first half of book, not affecting any text. Chipping bottom of spine. Book condition VG-. Uncommon.
