1939. Hardcover. Acceptable. Small, 3"x4" book, part of the "Better Little Book" series, #1427. Betcha didn't know that Mickey Rooney's given name was Sonny Yule, did you? That and so much more to be found inside this little book. Worn with darkened boards, worn and dented tips, and splitting along the spine edges. Cocked. Stained block edges. Former owner names on paste and end papers. Splitting in the gutters between several pages, so one should take care when looking/reading through the book. Toned pages, dirty text block. Unpaginated.

Heel and head of spine are are dented. Sound binding. Pages are lightly age-toned. 175 pages which include several pages for "notes.

Pak was the "Special Assistant" to Reverend Sun Myung Moon, founder of the "Moonies." 110 pages.

Appears to have some coffee stains within a few pages. Stained text block. 255pp. 5.5"x7.5

DJ is in an archival Mylar bookcover, which is scuffed. The DJ itself has wearing along the edges, heel and head and tips. Small stains on FFE. Smudged text block. Note: In cursive writing on the FFE, written in pen, is the name "Jesse I. Smith." Above that, written in pencil at the very top of the page reads: "Jesse Smith, nee: Jessie Ilfeld, daughter of Herman Ifeld, niece of Charles Ifeld." We have no way to vet this information or to assess its authenticity. Binding is firm. 431 pages.

The DJ is now protected with a mylar archival jacket. Lower corner edges of text block have thumbprint staining. Binding is in good shape. No twisting. Solid. Yellow paper cover boards with blue cloth spine have minor denting of corners, and spine ends. Gilt titling is a little rubbed, but gilt is still fairly bright.
